MINDFUL FLOW
Asanas, or postures, are only part of the yoga experience. In this class our teachers will help you tap in to something deeper on your mat. In Mindful Flow we use the body and breath to focus our awareness on the present moment. Through breath and movement this flowing sequence of postures develops strength and flexibility, but also brings you deeper into your practice. They will also sprinkle in breathing techniques to help you release tension and shake off the trials of your day.
MINDFUL FLOW 2
Take your Flow to the next level. Building on the fundamentals taught in Mindful Flow, we will help you move your mind and your body forward. By learning to sync up the mind, body and breath, you’ll experience a deeper practice as you explore your individual edge. You’ll also be able to fine tune your alignment and fluidity as you glide through each posture. A strong and powerful Flow.
YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Connective tissue responds best to gentle stress over a long period of time, so Yin postures are held for longer periods. This type of practice complements the more muscular styles of Yoga and is a great aid for learning to sit in meditation.
Many people find that a Yin Yoga practice has transformative effects on body and mind. The gentle but consistent stimulation to the connective tissues encourages long-term health and flexibility of the joints, recharges the energetic system of the body and naturally draws the mind inward into a relaxed, meditative state.
