Maria Carr, yoga teacher since 1996, lead teacher in the Inspired Life Teacher Training program, owner of the Port Perry Flowyoga Studio and continual student of life. Maria is also certified in Yin yoga, Restorative yoga and yoga for Seniors .She is currently studying yoga anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff, Amy Matthews and David Keil and is an avid student of yoga philosophy.
She is passionate about sharing the teachings of Yoga and strives to create a calm and open environment in which to practice. She completed her yoga teacher training in 1996 with Kaila Kukla and has been teaching full time ever since. In Toronto Maria worked with many different groups of people including those recovering from addictions and stressed out executives in both private and group settings. After moving to Port Perry in 2000 she began to develop a dedicated group of yoga students that continues to grow. The Port Perry Flowyoga Studio opened in 2009 to provide a sacred space for a deeper exploration between mind, body, breath and soul.
Maria embodies a deep sense of intuitive awareness as an instructor and is responsive to her students in a way that communicates love and joy.

Catherine was drawn to Yoga in 2006 as a way to quiet her mind and find balance during a busy time in her life.
This led Catherine to complete the Inspired Life Teacher training program with Maria Carr in 2013 where she found her passion for teaching.
Catherine offers her students love and compassion thereby allowing them to shine their own light. Her class focuses on mindful alignment and encourages students to feel their way into the postures from the inside.

She offers the energy and healing of Reiki in her Peace and Renewal workshops and teaches training courses in both Reiki Level I and Reiki Level II.

Bridgette is drawn to the deep connection that yoga nurtures between our physical bodies, the essence of who we are within and all else. Bridgette enjoys the sense of peace that yoga cultivates as well as the physical, emotional and spiritual growth. In 2014 she graduated from the Inspired Life 200 hr teacher training program. She is excited to learn more about yoga and recognizes that this is a life long journey.

Bobbi’s passion for teaching emerges from her commitment to improving mental health and wellness through the sharing of yoga. She started Yoga for the physical benefits and soon began to notice and experience a profound calming effect in her life. To better her understanding of the practice and help with her own wellness she began The Inspired Life teacher training program. Her classes will enable you to strengthen your body, release tension, relax your mind and come away with a sense of calm that carries through to your everyday life. Her favourite posture is the stillness of Mountain after a strong Warrior sequence. Off the mat Bobbi enjoys reading, boating and spending time in nature.
